LAST SEEN · Parkdale · Aug 11
● How it works · Canada-first
Registering an item is the easy part. What brings it home is what happens after — a notice your block can actually find, a private way for a finder to reach you, and the proof of ownership kept out of public view.
Four fields and two minutes: what it is, where you last had it, a photo, and the numbers that make it yours. The serial and the microchip ID are stored but never shown in public — they're the proof kept in reserve.
TIME TO POST · ~2 min · SERIAL VISIBILITY · owner-only

Kona Rove AL, charcoal
LAST SEEN · Parkdale · Aug 11
Your notice is published against a coarse ring, at least 1.5 km wide, never a pin on your door. Someone walking their dog past a suspicious lock can search the board, find the notice and open a private message thread with you — without ever seeing your address, your phone number or your email.
RADIUS · ≥ 1.5 km · EXACT GPS · never published
Sweeping Kijiji, Marketplace and Craigslist on an owner's behalf is the next thing on our roadmap, and it does not run today. Nothing on FoundWall reads a marketplace yet. The panel beside this is a design preview of how an alert would look, not a live feed — which is why the serial you record now matters: it is the detail a repaint can't hide when matching does arrive.

Whoever has your item writes to the notice, not to you. You compare the private serial or chip number you kept back, and only then decide how to meet — or hand what you have to police. We never accuse anyone, and we never contact a seller on your behalf.

Before you buy
Search the public board for the model, the colour and the neighbourhood before you hand over cash. Browsing is free and needs no account — and a search that turns up nothing is as useful as one that doesn't.

How a possible match would be worded — a maybe, never a verdict

A clear result only means nobody has reported it here
The board search above is live today. The one-click listing check is on the roadmap.
Location is coarse
Your last-seen point is rounded to an area of at least 1.5 km. An exact coordinate is never stored on the public notice.
Numbers stay yours
Serials and microchip IDs are stored so you can prove ownership later. They stay hidden from everyone but you and, if you choose, the police.
Contact stays in-platform
A finder messages the notice, not you. Your email and phone number are never published, and you decide what to share and when.
